Toyota Sera - catalog and technical specifications
The Toyota Sera is a compact 3-door coupe-like hatchback, the first Toyota model made in the "biodesign" style. It was produced from 1990 to 1995. The graceful car was distinguished by its butterfly doors, which tilted up and forward when open and glass roof canopy. Technically, the hatchback was similar to the entry-level Tercel/Corsa: it was equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a DOHC gas distribution system and front-wheel drive. There were manual or automatic transmissions. The car received a 4-seater interior with a 2+2 seating layout. A total of 16,748 cars were produced, many of which were exported by fans to other countries.
