Volvo Laplander – overview
The Volvo Laplander or L3314 is a range of military vehicles of the Swedish brand Volvo. The military versions were produced from 1974 to 1987, while a civilian version with the C202 index was introduced in 1977. The vehicle was offered with different body-variants such as hard-top, half-cab, soft-top, or special armored versions, including light weapons. The upgraded civilian Laplander easily overcame off-road terrain and was highly valued by professionals, such as rescuers.
