It may be time to check your engine if you notice the excessive oil consumption, vehicle power decrease, problematic gear selection, and unusual sounds when starting the engine. As a rule, engine diagnostics are carried out in the following order: checking the presence of working fluids on the engine; checking the level and quality of engine oil; assessing the extraneous noise during engine operation; checking the vibration of the engine during operation; checking the engine mounts; assessing the functionality of the exhaust system; checking the operation of the feed system. The engine is a complex technical device that requires complex visual and computer inspection with the use of special tools.
