Replacing the air conditioning belt

The air conditioning belt should be replaced periodically, in accordance with the recommendations of the automobile makers. But sometimes it becomes unusable before the expiration of this period, which is indicated by the whistling sound when starting the engine or after driving through a puddle. To replace the element, space is freed up in the engine compartment to access the tensioning mechanism. Then the belt tension is loosened, the old belt is removed from the pulleys and extracted. After installing the belt, it is required to adjust the degree of tension.
