You may need to replace the muffler in the presence of such signs as the loud exhaust sounds, the exhaust gas smell in the passenger compartment with the windows closed, the visually noticeable exhaust, and an unusual exhaust smell with high-quality fuel. Muffler dismantling begins by cleaning the exhaust system and fittings, after which the flange connector is removed and the muffler is detached. Next, the fasteners of the clamps fixing the inlet and outlet pipes are removed and the muffler is removed. Installation of a new muffler is carried out in the reverse order.
