Front hub bearing replacement
Front hub bearing replacement
It may be time to replace the front hub bearing in the presence of the following signs: increased noise and hum when driving on a flat road, increased play in the wheel hub, noise when the wheel rotates without load, and the hub heating when the vehicle is moving. In order to replace the bearing, dismantle the bearing nut, remove the wheel if necessary, disconnect the caliper from the steering knuckle, disconnect the brake disc from the hub, dismantle and replace the bearing with a new one. The procedure differs depending on the car brand and model.
