A failure of the vacuum brake booster is indicated by the following signs: a slow response when pressing the brake pedal, hissing sounds, and increased fuel consumption. If the cause is a malfunction of the vacuum booster, it can be replaced. First, remove the sensors under the hood, the tubes, the reservoir and the master cylinder, the fasteners from the side of dash panel, after which dismantle the vacuum amplifier and replace it with a new one.
