دونكيرفوورت S8A - الكتالوج والمواصفات الفنية

Donkervoort S8A is a compact 2-door, 2-seater roadster produced by Donkervoort from 1985 to 1993. Essentially a two-person racing car, just 3.6 meters long, it was a modernized version of the S8 model with a narrow, cigar-shaped body reminiscent of a 1950s formula racing car. The roadster turned out to be a little wider, its front end and hood were redesigned, it was equipped with a new rear suspension and a 5-speed manual transmission. For driving on the roads, the car had only the most necessary things: headlights and lanterns, a spare wheel on the outside (the license plate was attached to its bracket), a windshield, an awning - and that’s all! Bumpers and even doors were already redundant. The design of the Donkervoort S8A was based on a space frame welded from steel pipes. The independent suspension on wishbones and springs with anti-roll bars is made of ultra-light alloy, the body panels are made of aluminum sheets. As a result, the weight of the car did not exceed 675 kg. The 2-liter inline-four produced 117 hp. and 163 Nm. Drive - rear. This Donkervoort S8A accelerated to the first “hundred” in 6 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 205 km/h. A little later, a turbocharged version of the C8AT with a capacity of 170 hp appeared. It accelerated in 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 225 km/h.
