The Mitsubishi Destinator is a mid-size 7-seater crossover with three rows of seats, presented in July 2025. The new budget SUV is aimed at the poor markets of Southeast Asia, but it will also be sold in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. The passport ground clearance is 214 mm with engine protection (without it - 244 mm). The approach angle is 21 degrees, the departure angle is 25.5 degrees. The standard wheels are 18-inch. The cabin is equipped with digital 8-inch instruments and a 12.3-inch touchscreen media system. There is a pull-out drawer under the front passenger seat, and third-row passengers have access to pockets with USB ports for gadgets. The 3-section second row backrest is divided in a 40:20:40 ratio. On the third row, the backrest is divided in half. The equipment includes a panoramic roof with a sliding section, folding tables on the second row, extended contour lighting of the cabin, 3-zone climate control, an advanced Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system with 8 speakers, all-round cameras, 6 airbags, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and automatic headlights. Chassis - with McPherson struts at the front and semi-independent rear suspension. Under the hood of the Mitsubishi Destinator is a 1.5-liter turbo engine (163 hp and 250 Nm), operating on the economical Atkinson cycle, with a combined fuel injection system and a liquid intercooler. Transmission is a CVT. Only front-wheel drive. But there are 5 modes of driving electronics and imitation of a limited-slip differential AYC.
