Tire vulcanization
Tire vulcanization
Vulcanization is a method of repairing damaged tires. There are two methods of vulcanization: 1) hot method that allows eliminating heat damage; 2) cold method that allows restoring a section of the tire with a pad containing a special adhesive composition. For hot vulcanization, the required area is cleaned and degreased, after which a special compound is applied to it and heated at a temperature of 120–140°C. Cold technology consists in gluing the pad, but it requires the use of special equipment to ensure efficiency of this method.
