Suspension

Suspension in Beer Tuvia

The suspension is one of the main structural elements of the car that provides the connection of the wheels with the load-bearing part of the car. The suspension receives, compensates, transfers to the load-bearing part the effect of multidirectional forces arising from the movement of the vehicle, providing structural integrity. In most car models, the suspension controls movement of the wheels in a certain plane. Suspension malfunctions occur due to wear, vehicle operating conditions, driving style, poor quality of installed parts and assemblies, exposure to environmental factors, unqualified or insufficient maintenance. Symptoms of a malfunction are the following: the car pulling away from the straight-line movement direction, body swaying, and vibration during the movement, extraneous sounds from the side of the suspension. The suspension is characterized by faults in the steering, transmission, braking system, bearing parts (body, side members, frame, subframes).
