Brake caliper replacement
Brake caliper replacement
The caliper can be malfunctioning in the presence of the following signs: a large amount of effort to stop the car, car pulling when braking, brake pedal jerking, and other problems. In order to replace the rear calipers, first, remove the wheel and rear brake pads. Next, disconnect the caliper and the parking brake cable. After removing the fasteners, dismantle the caliper together with the holder. After removing the old caliper, install a new one. To dismantle the front caliper, remove the wheel, disconnect the brake hose and close the openings in the caliper and the hose. Remove the mountings that fix the caliper to the steering knuckle and the caliper assembly. Install a new caliper.
