Cylinder block replacement
Cylinder block replacement
The cylinder block may be faulty in the presence of coolant or engine oil leaks. The procedure for replacing depends on a car, but, in general, the algorithm for removing the unit can be as follows: disconnecting wires, electronics, and an air filter from the engine, disconnecting the gearbox and the clutch, removing the drive pulley on the crankshaft, removing the flywheel and chain (or belt) from the engine, dismantling the camshaft and other components, up to the cylinder block. After that, a new block is installed and the engine is assembled.
