CV joint boot replacement
CV joint boot replacement
If you notice any unusual noises when turning or experience steering difficulties, it may be required to replace the CV joint boot. To dismantle it, remove the wheel, after which remove the brake caliper, disc and other elements, including the CV joint itself. After removing the CV joint, remove the fasteners and the damaged boot from the seat, and install a new boot. Assemble the unit in the reverse order.
