The presence of oil traces on the distributor body may indicate that the upper oil seal is leaking and needs to be replaced. To replace it, remove the wheel, dismantle the air filter housing, the air intake, pump out the oil from the power steering tank, then remove the distributor, the shaft from the housing, and the oil seal, after which install a new oil seal. Assemble the unit in the reverse order.
