Replacing the ball joint
Replacing the ball joint
It may be required to replace the ball joints in the presence of the following signs: uneven tire wear, incorrect steering, loss of directional stability. The replacement procedure can be as follows: remove the wheel, unscrew the nut securing the upper ball pin, remove the pin from the eyelet, remove the fastenings that fix the upper support to the suspension, remove the upper ball joint from the suspension. Use a special device to remove the lower ball pin from the eyelet, after which remove the fasteners of the ball joint and the lower ball joint itself. Install new ball joints. Assemble the suspension in the reverse order.
