Replacement of the exhaust receiver tube
Replacement of the exhaust receiver tube
If you can smell exhaust fumes in the passenger compartment, experience car starting problems or hear unusual noises coming from the engine, the gasket between the exhaust receiver tube and the manifold may need to be replaced. In most cars, the replacing procedure involves removing the engine protective cover, removing the casing from the exhaust manifold, disconnecting the oxygen sensor terminal, removing the receiver tube fixation and manifold, displacing the pipe, installing a new gasket and carrying out installation in the reverse order.
