Ambassador

Austin Ambassador - catalog and technical specifications

The Austin Ambassador is a large family car that appeared in March 1982. It was a radically updated version of the Austin Princess sedan. The new model featured a characteristic wedge-shaped side profile. The Austin Ambassador filled a niche between the smaller Morris Ital and the Rover SD1. However, sales were poor and the Ambassador was discontinued in 1984. Nevertheless, 43,427 units managed to find their buyers.
