Austin FL2 - catalog and technical specifications
The Austin FL2 is a limousine version of the Austin FX4 taxi, introduced at the same time as the original. The car was intended for private rental, representative purposes and as a hearse. The car featured a gasoline engine and additional seats. There were versions with special finishes. The FL2 was produced from 1958 to 1978 and then from 1982 as a London limousine with luxurious interiors. Such cars were owned by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Baron Laurence Olivier.
