Autobianchi Primula - catalog and technical specifications
The Autobianchi Primula is a subcompact affordable model produced from 1964 to 1970. The car became famous thanks to the transverse engine and innovative front-wheel drive, developed by Dante Giacosa. Years later this layout became standard. The Primula was offered in hatchback or sedan bodies. In 1965, the manufacturer introduced coupe and fastback. A total of about 75,000 cars were produced before the end of production in 1970.
