Hansa 1500

Borgward Hansa 1500 generations

The Borgward Hansa 1500 is a mid-size car produced from 1949 to 1954. The model became the first West German post-war example of a revolutionary pontoon design, where the front and rear fenders form a single straight line. Subsequently, this feature has become the main one for most manufacturers in Europe. Stylish for its time, the car was offered in sedan, estate or convertible bodies. In 1954, the Hansa was replaced by the Borgward Isabella.
