BYD Seal – overview
The BYD Seal is a mid-size electric sedan with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive from the company BYD, the second model in the electric Marine family, whose name translates to seal or sea lion. The car is built on a new third-generation modular platform (e3.0) and incorporates the latest technologies. Many experts are already saying that the Chinese "sea lion" directly threatens the Tesla Model 3, at least in the domestic Chinese market. The BYD Seal even looks similar to its main competitor. The all-wheel drive sedan accelerates to the first "hundred" in 3.8 seconds, and the rear-engine version has a passport range of up to 700 km.
