DeSoto Firedome - catalog and technical specifications

The DeSoto Firedome is a full-size car produced from 1952 to 1959. The huge, heavy monster with a 4.5-liter Hemi V8 engine proved to be very successful and forced Chrysler (DeSoto was Chrysler’s division) to switch to building just similar big and strong cars. The Firedome was offered in several versions and is still popular with collectors to this day, as a canonical American model of the 1950s.
