Eagle car models in Israel

The American car brand Eagle created in 1979 was a subdivision of American Motors Corporation that produced the namesake model. Eagle was substantially a hybrid of a regular sedan and a frame off-roader. The first Eagle built on a bearer frame was a test model aimed to create a brand new car to become a crossover in the future. However, after AMC's bankruptcy, the company fell under control of Chrysler that merged Eagle with Jeep. Jeep only benefited from such merger and become more comfortable. As to Eagle, although it continued to produce its own sedans with all-wheel and front-wheel drives, Summit and Vision, as well as Talon (sports car), in fact, it has ceased to exist as a car developer since 1999.
