Ferrari 166 - catalog and technical specifications
The Ferrari 166 is the first large series produced in 1948-1949. A total of 100 units were made. The cars were equipped with two-liter 12-cylinder engines, which allowed them to win many victories, including Ferrari's first victories in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Mille Miglia. Interestingly, these were the first cars to be available in car dealerships and to be sold to private individuals. During that period, there were many bodybuilding companies in Italy, and each car was made for a specific buyer, taking into account all of their wishes, so all cars, even of the same model, were different in appearance and size.
