Ferrari 456 - catalog and technical specifications
The Ferrari 456 GT is a four-seater coupe that debuted in 1992 and replaced the 400. “456” stands for the volume of each engine cylinder, which equals to 456 cubes. This is the last Ferrari model to be named in such a manner. Pininfarina studio experts worked on the coupe’s design and managed to create a memorable image of the car. The body was made of steel and aluminum. The 456's engine was known for its high reliability, and the sports car was considered the fastest production four-seater model in the world and was for some time the most powerful Ferrari model after the F40 supercar. There was also a version with automatic transmission. The model was discontinued in 2003.
