Fiat Croma – overview
The Fiat Croma was produced by Fiat as a 5-door liftback from 1985 to 1996 and as an estate crossover from 2005 to 2010. The liftback was sold in the large family car segment, replacing the not-so-successful Argenta model. With the discontinuation of the Croma in 1996, Fiat abandoned the large family car segment. In 2005, the car was revived under the same name, but became fundamentally different. The new Croma, which shared components with the Opel Vectra and Saab 9-3, was a product of the "comfortable estate" concept. The resulting car combined design elements of both estates and large minivans.
