Ford Bronco-II generations
The Ford Bronco II is a compact SUV produced in the United States from 1983 to 1990. The car was developed in parallel with the Ranger pickup. The models shared a German-made 2.8-liter V6 gasoline carburetor engine with 115 hp. Initially all-wheel drive, the SUV also became rear-wheel drive in 1986. In the same year, the model received a more powerful injection engine and began to offer Mitsubishi's 2.3-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine as an alternative. In 1990, the Bronco II was replaced by the larger SUV Explorer, which is also based on the Ranger.
