GMC Suburban – overview
The GMC Suburban is better known as the Chevrolet Suburban, GM's huge, iconic mighty American full-size, rear- or all-wheel-drive SUV. The GMC Suburban was actually produced from 1937 until 1999, and after that continued its life under the name GMC Yukon XL. The Suburban differed from the Chevrolet GMC in a slightly extended space of the second and third rows, an increased cargo compartment, and a slightly more gorgeous design. In all other respects, it was still the same legendary Suburban, the first car to be awarded its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
