Hanomag Rekord - catalog and technical specifications
The Hanomag Rekord is a mid-size rear-wheel drive car produced from 1934 to 1940. It was available in roadster, sedan, convertible and even SUV bodies. The car had a typical design for its time, and a 4-cylinder in-line engine with 32 hp. By the way, the car was one of the first to receive a diesel engine. In 1939, race car driver Karl Haeberle set four world records while driving the Rekord racing modification with a 1.9-liter diesel engine, showing the maximum speed over a 5-kilometer distance.
