Hanomag car models in Israel

The German automaker Hanomag founded in 1871 initially manufactured steam power units. It then manufactured trains and only in 1905 started creating steam cars for the army. The first civil cars Hanomag appeared only in the '20s. After World War II, Hanomag focused on the manufacturing of agricultural machinery, and in the 2000s, after the release of a new generation of tractors and bulldozers created in concert with Daihatsu (Japan), Hanomag became a large machine-building company that was completely acquired in 2002 by Komatsu, a Japanese auto giant.
