Honda Insight – overview
The Honda Insight is a front-wheel drive hybrid car that comes as a compact hatchback. It has been produced since 1999, with a pause between 2014 and 2018. In December 1999, it became the first mass-produced hybrid car to be sold in the United States. It has an unusual exterior, and its body made of aluminum was accused of resemblance to the Toyota Prius. The third generation was introduced in 2018. It is based on the Honda Civic platform.
