Lamborghini LM002 – overview
The Lamborghini LM002 is the company's first production SUV. The vehicle was unveiled at the 1986 Brussels Motor Show. The model came standard with a 3.9-liter V12 engine, but at the request of buyers, some vehilces received a 7.2-liter engine. Unlike the unsuccessful LM001, the SUV had a front-engine layout, a 5-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. Plus, the Lamborghini LM002 appeared in a movie. Until the end of production in 1993, 328 vehicles were produced.
