Lotus 340R – overview
The Lotus 340R is a sports car released as a limited edition of only 340 units by Lotus Cars in 2000. All cars were made in silver and black, and all of them sold out before release. The 340R was considered a road car, but was used primarily for amateur racing. It had an appropriate design, and the sports car engine was a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine with 177 or 187 hp. The car accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds while capable of developing a maximum speed of 214 km/h.
