Lotus Eclat – overview
The Lotus Eclat is a two-door coupe produced by Lotus Cars from 1975 to 1982. This car was supposed to make Lotus a leader in the segment. It was distinguished by the sharp design and stylish interior. Due to its solid structure, the Eclat was initially successful, especially after winning the Don Safety Trophy. But it soon gained a bad reputation due to the poor build quality of the production version.
