Mercedes 190 (W201) generations

The Mercedes-Benz 190 (W201) is a sedan produced from 1982 to 1993. This model left a big mark in the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand. The fuel-efficient and compact car almost immediately became the leader in the European C-segment. The Mercedes 190 (W201) featured a wedge-shaped silhouette, glass and doors flush with the surface and lining instead of roof gutters, which reduced the drag coefficient to 0.33 and significantly reduced fuel consumption. In 1993, it was replaced by the most popular car of the German brand in the future, the C-Class sedan (W202).
