Mercedes CL-Class AMG - catalog and technical specifications
In 1999, the AMG tuning studio, an official partner of Mercedes-Benz since 1993, was bought by the latter, after which the CL 55 AMG model appeared for the new CL-Class at the beginning of 2000. The luxurious 2-door coupe with an injection engine received a modified transmission, brakes, and an improved interior. The most unusual coupe with the C215 index was the Mercedes SL 63 AMG, which left the assembly line in 2001. It was the first to feature a hydraulic body level control system. In 2007, AMG celebrated its 40th anniversary with the launch of 40 CL 65 AMG cars. They have high-quality upholstery, liquid metal shade and a commemorative plate on the tunnel “AMG 40th Anniversar”.
