Mercedes Viano – overview
The Mercedes-Benz Viano is a popular series of German minivans produced from 1996 to 2014. Based on the platform of the Mercedes-Benz Vito's commercial van, the Viano looked different and featured different equipment. Since the second generation, it has been officially called the V-Class. All-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive, three lengths, two wheelbases, wide interior transformation possibilities, rich equipment and a choice of different gasoline and diesel engines made the Mercedes-Benz Viano extremely popular. The vehicle came standard with six passenger seats, but there were also in-line 3-seater seats, which turned the minivan into an 8-seater passenger car.
