Nissan Xterra - catalog and technical specifications

The Nissan Xterra is a body-on-frame SUV designed specifically for the United States. The first generation was compact, whereas the second grew to mid-size. The vehicle was built in 1999. It was based on the Nissan F-Alpha platform, shared with the Frontier pickup. The name "Xterra" comes from the XTERRA triathlon competition, held under the auspices of Nissan from 1998 to 2006.
