Oldsmobile Starfire - catalog and technical specifications
The Oldsmobile Starfire was initially a full-size car, which later turned into a compact car. It was produced under the Oldsmobile brand from 1961 to 1980. The first life of the Starfire (until 1966) was truly luxurious. The car, designed to compete in the then booming luxury car market, took its rightful place on it. From 1961 to 1965, the Starfire convertible was considered the most expensive Oldsmobile model. It was distinguished by a unique finish, a luxurious interior and an engine with (even 375 hp for a sports version). The second life turned out to be much more modest: it was a compact 4-seater car, almost identical to the very popular Chevrolet Monza.
