The American car brand Oldsmobile owned by General Motors was founded in 1897 and was one of the oldest in the world! Over its 107-year history, it manufactured 35.2 million cars. Oldsmobile cars are legendary! The Oldsmobile 88 was unofficially called the “King of the NASCAR". Oldsmobile 442, a super popular Muscle car of the 60s, made it into many songs, books and films. The revolutionary Oldsmobile Toronado nicknamed "the car for radicals", was one of the most desired cars among extraordinary personalities, fashionists and actors. This list is far from exhaustive. All has its date, however. April 29, 2004 was the day on which the last Oldsmobile vehicle was manufactured. The 4-door sedan Alero GLS was the last car that was manufactured. All employees of the assembly shop affixed their signatures to its body.
