Opel Manta – overview

The Opel Manta is a sports car produced by Opel from 1970 to 1988. The model came as a 2-door coupe and 3-door hatchback. It was a good alternative to more expensive and pretentious sports cars. The car received a classic sports design of the 70-80s: concise, aggressive, dynamic. The first generation was equipped with 1.6 or 1.9-liter engines with power ranging from 60 to 105 hp. The car’s sporty nature allowed it to participate in competitions. The second generation looked less sporty, but its engines became more powerful and the transmission and exhaust system were upgraded.
