Peugeot 206 – overview
The Peugeot 206 is a supermini car produced by Peugeot from 1998 to 2012. It is still considered the best-selling model of the French brand. Thus, by 2012, 8,358,217 cars were sold. The car’s exterior turned out to be original, memorable and aggressive: “slanting” headlights, a dynamic and impetuous silhouette. Designers managed to find a compromise between bold modern ideas and classic French style. The interior turned out to be quite spacious and bright. The range of powertrains includes well-proven 1.1, 1.4 and 1.6-liter gasoline engines. The original design and good technical performance allowed the Peugeot 206 to become a bestseller in the European market.
