Acclaim

Plymouth Acclaim generations

The Plymouth Acclaim is a mid-size sedan produced under the Plymouth Chrysler Corporation brand from 1989 to 1995. It was a typical American sedan of its time: angular, roomy, dynamic and powerful. The car featured engines producing up to 150 hp. The model was especially loved for its reliability: in 1991, JD Power recognized the Plymouth Acclaim as the third most reliable car after the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. At the same time, the car enjoyed much greater success in Canada than in the United States.
