Reliant

Plymouth Reliant generations

The Plymouth Reliant is a mid-size sedan, coupe or minivan manufactured by Chrysler under the Plymouth brand from 1981 to 1989. The car was named Car of the Year 1981 by Motor Trend magazine. This reliable and durable car was designed to help the company overcome the crisis of the early 80s. At first, its cost was somewhat too high, which was almost immediately fixed by the automaker. Thus, in the end, the Reliant sales really had a positive effect on Chrysler's condition. Despite the relatively small (by American standards) size, the car received a fairly spacious interior, designed for 6 people. It came with an engine producing 82 hp.
