Volare

Plymouth Volare generations

The Plymouth Volare is a compact 5-door estate, 4-door sedan or 2-door coupe, produced under the Plymouth brand from 1975 to 1980. In 1976, the Volare and the identical Dodge Aspen were named Car of the Year by Motor Trend magazine. Simple, reliable and inexpensive, the car was popular, especially in Canada, where it became the best-selling car in the segment. The secret of its excellent driving performance was advanced design. During development, the model underwent extensive wind tunnel testing for aerodynamic stability.
