The Renault Samsung SM5 is a mid-size business class sedan manufactured by Renault Samsung Motors from 1998 to 2010. It was sold mainly in East Asia and some African countries. The model was based on the fourth generation Nissan Maxima (A32). Attractive, well-equipped, comfortable and safe, the car has been the brand's bestseller in South Korea for almost 20 years. The version with a 2-liter gasoline engine was especially popular. The car was distinguished by a comfortable suspension.
