Renault Samsung car models in Israel

Renault Samsung Motors (South Korea) was founded in 1994 by two corporate groups, Samsung and Nissan. The controlling stake in the company is currently held by the French Renault and only 19.9% is held by Samsung Card, a subsidiary of Samsung Group. South Korean partners, however, can influence decision-making process by exercising their rights as a minority shareholder. The alliance with the French company has resulted in the creation of a number of joint Renault Samsung models, including electric ones.
