The Renault 4 is a compact economy car produced by the French automaker Renault between 1962 and 1991. It was practically the world’s first production hatchback and the first front-wheel drive Renault family car. The Renault 4 was one of the most recognizable Renault models due to the funny "expression" of the front end. A total of over 8 million units were sold.
