The Saab 93 is the second production car of the brand, which debuted in 1956. The front-wheel drive car was produced in Sweden until 1960. It was equipped with a 750 cc engine paired with a 3-speed manual gearbox. The car was the first SAAB model to be exported from Sweden. At the same time, the United States were the major export market. In 1957, Erik Carlsson took first place in the Rally Finland while driving a Saab 93. A total of 53 thousand units were released. In 1960, the car was replaced by the Saab 96.
